The state of the haemostasis system during pregnancy occurring with the use of assisted reproductive technologies

The review offers an analysis of research works describing risk factors of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) that influence the system of haemostasis, and also the incidence of obstetric and perinatal complications of assisted reproductive technologies (ART). Latest findings on a new procedure of ART – IVM (in vitro maturation) are presented.

Key words: infertility, assisted reproductive technologies, haemostasis, hypercoagulation, hyperestrogenemia, genetic form of thrombophilia, antiphospholipid syndrome, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, venous thromboembolism.
