The state of the reproductive system in women after organ-saving surgery on the uterus in obstetric hemorrhages

The  authors  carried  out  a  complex  examination  of  27  women,  who  underwent  bilateral  ligation  of  the  internal  iliac  arteries and/or application of combined compression sutures of the uterus for massive postpartum hemorrhage, and that of 15  women  with  uterine  myoma,  who  underwent  a  planned  ligation  of  the  internal  iliac  arteries  during  operative  delivery with subsequent myomectomy. It was established that organ-saving surgery on the uterus is the most up-to-date method of operative treatment in obstetric hemorrhages. Immediate and long-term results of this surgery should be regarded as favorable.
