Intensive therapy and development of multiple organ failure in parturient women with massive blood loss
The article presents the results of retrospective and prospective analysis of the course of post-resuscitation period in 80 parturient women after massive blood loss. It was established that risk factors for development of massive blood loss in parturient women could be a history of habitual miscarriage, complicated current pregnancy associated with DIC syndrome, and a need for urgent operative delivery. A relation has been established between the tactics of intensive therapy, efficacy of conservative measures to stop hemorrhage, the time of passing on to radical operative interventions to attain hemostasis and the development of complication in the post-resuscitation period in parturient women with massive blood loss. A system of measures to minimize blood loss, realize organ-saving tactics and prevent multiple organ failure in parturient women with massive blood loss has been proposed.
