Etiotropic therapy of postpartum endometritis

The study analyzes bacteriological investigation of lochia and antibioticograms of 115 women with postpartum endometritis. The structure  of  causative  agents  for  postpartum  endometritis  and  their  sensitivity  to  different  antibiotics  have  been  determined. Groups of bacterial antibiotics that have a spectrum of antimicrobial action are proposed for starting etiotropic therapy, including the most common organisms that cause postpartum endometritis, which permits to stop the spread of bacterial infection and prevent development of severe infectious puerperal diseases.
