A review of literature on multiple primary malignant neoplasms of the female reproductive organs. Criteria of a primary neoplastic process, reflected in the work, are especially important for differential diagnosis between the first neoplasm and a secondary lesion of metastatic character of some organ or other. The article features historical moments of the development and change of classification of multiple primary tumours, which was changing together with accumulation of practical experience and development of oncology. Examination of the bulk of literary sources of Soviet and world authors, data of a large number of research works on the problem of polyneoplasia of the female reproductive organs leaves many questions and necessitates further careful analysis and investigation.
